> Bring your work in from Linear, Notion, Slack and Google Workspace.

**Settings → Import** brings data from other tools into Coline. Imports map people between systems so authors and assignees carry over, and keep a history of every run.

| **Linear** | Teams, issues and their statuses, related and duplicate links, and estimates, as taskboards and tasks |
| **Notion** | Pages as Notes. Databases become typed Sheets with relations, rollups, formulas, people and comments. Related databases share a workbook, and inline databases stay embedded in their pages |
| **Slack** | Channels and messages, with files, reactions, pins, mentions and canvases. Each person can import the private channels and DMs they can see |
| **Google Workspace** | Drive files and Gmail threads with attachments, for each person, keeping sharing settings. Slides become Docs |

Slack and Google Workspace imports are available in team workspaces. To import your own Google Drive or Gmail, switch to your personal workspace.

## How imports run

* Imports of any size run in the background. You can keep working while they run.
* If an import is interrupted, it resumes where it stopped.
* If it reaches the workspace's storage limit, it pauses instead of failing.

## Single files

To bring in individual files, upload them to [Drive](/drive). To bring Markdown or a Notion export into Notes, use import in [Notes](/notes#import).
