## Calendars

* Create, share and archive calendars, and give other people access.
* **Calendar sets** group calendars into views you switch between in one click.
* Day, week and month views. Swipe between days and weeks; a full month day opens in day view.
* Import and export `.ics` files.

## Google Calendar

Connect one or more Google accounts and choose which calendars to show. Changes sync both ways.

## Events

* Create events from Calendar, from [Home](/home), from the new tab palette, or from a message. The composer and Kairo notice plans in conversations and offer to add them.
* Recurring events, reminders, templates, and travel time blocks.
* Visibility: private, invitees only, or the whole workspace. Mark time as busy or free.
* Link files and channels to an event.
* Search across your calendars.

## Invites

Invite anyone by email. People outside Coline get standard calendar invites and updates that work in any calendar app, and their replies come back into Coline. Invitees can propose a new time.

### Invites from AI clients

When an [MCP](/api/mcp) client or another AI client creates or changes an event that would email people outside Coline, the email waits for your approval in the Outbox, the same way [mail](/mail#mail-sent-by-ai-clients) does.

## Scheduling

* **Scheduling links** let people book time with you based on your availability rules. Bookings are confirmed by email, and guests can manage their booking from a link.
* **Meeting proposals** let guests pick from times you offer.

## Meetings

Events can have a meeting. Join from the event; see [calls and meetings](/calls).

### Meeting notes

Create meeting notes from an event. The notes are linked to the event, and Kairo can pull out action items.

## Kairo and Calendar

Ask Kairo to find a time that works for everyone, prepare you for a meeting, or move things around. In the Default [permission mode](/kairo/overview#permission-modes) it asks before sending invites.
